Camp Descriptions
We offer 7 different theme based camps each year, all sure to get your child moving and grooving and shaking those sillies out all summer long!
Most camps are offered to ages 3-12 unless otherwise specified. We offer PreK (ages 3-4), Kids (ages 5-9), and Preteen (ages 10-12), tracks. Our skilled instructors work with students at their level- please note all camps are open to beginner - advanced levels. Come learn the basics or build on what you know!
Camp options:
1. Your child will transform into a graceful swan at tiaras and tutus camp where she will learn to gracefully pirouette and grande jete her way across the stage and create her own sparkly props like fairy wands and ribbons to dance with all week.
2. ballerinas on broadway camp is an extension of tiaras and tutus camp, except we throw in some jazz hands, ball change kicks, and jazz squares; dancing to the tunes of some of Broadway's best ballads! This ballet and jazz dance camp is perfect for the ballerina looking to spice things up.
3. At burn the floor hip hop camp, your child will learn hip hop basics including popping, locking, and break dancing while moving to their favorite tunes. This is a high energy camp that emphasizes rhythm, style, and personal expression through freestyle dance battles and funky choreography.
4. Is your child the next Broadway star? Help them fine tune their voice, acting, and dance skills at our showstopper musical theatre camp where they will learn how to take "triple threat" to the next level.
5. Learn fun cheers, chants, motions, and more while building leadership and self-esteem. Engage in fun team work exercises and collaborate on an all star routine in ready? set?! cheer! camp.
6. It's mime time! Ever dream of performing in a CIRCUS? Want to learn the basics of clowning, mime and pantomime, acrobatics, and even how to be a living statue?! In this camp, you will learn all this plus performance technique for basic magic tricks and illusions, (and get to play with face paint too!) ($20 supplies fee)
7. What's more fun than getting to make a bunch of "noise" with your feet?! At tap it up! camp students will learn classical tap technique as well as have the chance to put their newly learned steps to the beat of funky, contemporary music!! (Tap shoes required)
All camps include a Message In Motion t-shirt and an end of camp performance for family and friends!
